The Overview

In a strategic collaboration between Ketel One and Hub Folding Box, I engineered the structural surface design and visual layout for a premium three-bottle variety pack. Managing assets across multiple stakeholders, I took raw, complex illustrative components provided by Ketel One’s external creative agency and synthesized them into a luxury unboxing experience.

The Challenge

The Goal: Unify disparate visual elements into a single, cohesive, brand-aligned packaging system.

The Hurdle: The provided assets consisted of isolated, static illustrations unique to each specific spirit flavor. I needed to wrap these across dynamic structural folds, dielines, and die-cut window shapes without losing the premium, airy elegance required by the luxury spirit sector.

My Role & Design Strategy

Intricate Pattern Architecture: Deconstructed the individual flavor-specific botanical assets and meticulously re-architected them into a high-density, seamless repeat pattern used as a high-impact "inside-the-box" unboxing reveal.

Structural Dieline Art Direction: Utilized a strategic variation of the botanical pattern to inform the structural geometry of the front window die-cut, creating visual continuity that drove strong shelf-presence from multiple viewing angles.

Cross-Functional Asset Synthesis: Acted as the technical creative bridge between Ketel One’s primary agency and the production team at Hub Folding Box, optimizing complex vector layers to ensure zero asset degradation or ink bleeding across rigid packaging dielines.

Production-Ready File Hygiene: Maintained absolute technical precision throughout the mechanical setup to guarantee a seamless, error-free manufacturing handoff.
